Spring is in full swing and with that comes baseball and softball action at the Covington Community Park as sixteen teams in the Covington Youth Sports Association take part in the annual “Opening Day” on Saturday, May 30th and Sunday, May 31st.
Throughout the weekend, Covington teams will compete against each other according to the level they are in. Action will take place on both diamonds – the large diamond located next to the Stillwater River and the small diamond located down the hill from the park entrance.
The Covington Youth Sports Association, which organizes youth baseball and softball along with Little Buccs Football and Cheerleading, is a non-profit organization supporting the youth of the community.
