Village of Covington, Ohio

Covington is a village in Miami County, Ohio and was incorporated in 1835 on the site of the 1793 Fort Rowdy. Laid out in 1816, Covington was previously known under the names of Friendship, Newberry, and Stillwater. A post office called Stillwater was established in 1825 and changed to the name of Covington, Ohio in 1836.

The Culpepper & Merriweather Circus Returning to Covington

Covington residents will again be treated to a thrilling evening under the big top on Monday, May 14th. as the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus returns to the Covington Industrial park.

The Circus which is sponsored by the Covington Chamber of Commerce,  features two ninety-minute shows consisting of high-flying acrobat acts, horses, dogs, clowns, a lion and a tiger – not to mention prizes for kids and plenty of enjoyable snacks.

Show times are 5:00 and 7:30 PM. Tickets are available at the following Covington Businesses;  Al’s BP, Siegel’s Country Store, Covington Savings and Loan, Selman’s Furniture Store, The Stitchery, Koverman Staley Dickerson Insurance, and the Covington Government Center.
