Overview
The Planning Commission has the general authority as stated in ORC Chapters 711 and 713, to review and approve plans for unsubdivided property, and all proposals for minor and major subdivisions of the Village. The Commission is generally responsible for creating and modifying the Master Plan of streets and zoning throughout the Village, and for reviewing specific preliminary development plans in the specific zoning districts of the Village.
The Planning Commission also manages the Zoning Ordinance, Zoning Map, and Comprehensive Plan for the Village.
Regular Meeting
The Planning Commission meets at 7:00 P.M. the 4th Monday of each month, if there are requests under consideration.
Applications
- Rezoning | To change the zoning of a property from one district to another.
- Planned Development | Preliminary and Final Development Plan Process.
- Site Plan Review | For approval under Article 8 of the Zoning Ordinance.
- Subdivision | Minor and Major Subdivision process. Must meet subdivision regulations.
- Text Amendment | Contact the Village Administrator to discuss what text you want amended.

Under ORC 713.01, the Village has setup a Planning Commission consistent of five members.
