ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – BROADWAY UTILITY PROJECT
The Village of Covington would like to inform residents, businesses, and motorists of an upcoming road closure due to a scheduled utility improvement project.
Location: From the Entrance of the Community Park (140 W. Broadway) to High Street (St. Rt. 48)
Closure Date Will Start the Week of May 4, 2026
This closure is necessary to allow crews to safely complete utility replacement and improvements.
Access:
- Local traffic and emergency services will be accommodated whenever possible.
- Residents within the closure area will maintain access to their properties, though minor delays may occur.
- Community Park can be accessed from West State Route 36.
Detour Route:
Clearly marked detours will be posted. Motorists are encouraged to follow signage and allow extra travel time.
The Village appreciates your patience and cooperation as we complete this important infrastructure improvement. Please use caution when traveling near the work zone.
