Village of Covington, Ohio

Covington is a village in Miami County, Ohio and was incorporated in 1835 on the site of the 1793 Fort Rowdy. Laid out in 1816, Covington was previously known under the names of Friendship, Newberry, and Stillwater. A post office called Stillwater was established in 1825 and changed to the name of Covington, Ohio in 1836.

Covington Village Has Received Bids for the 2017 Sidewalk Improvement Project

 On May 3, 2017 The Village of Covington received bids for the 2017 Sidewalk Improvement Project. Bids were provided by M&T, Grissom Concrete and J&J Stampworks. 2016 Fort Rowdy Gathering…

Labor Day Weekend was highlighted in Covington by the annual Fort Rowdy Gathering, operated by the Covington-Newberry Historical Society and local businesses and organizations. Covington Athletes Compete At State…

COLUMBUS - Congratulations to Covington sophomore Jett Murphy for placing fourth at the state track meet and setting a new school record in the pole vault by clearing 14 feet, four inches at in Columbus on Friday. The bar was set at 11-6 to start the competition, but Jett passed on his attempts until the bar reach 13-6.
